Care Generation honors caregiving as work. By recognizing the value of work that Americans do to care for their loved ones, we seek to de-stigmatize caregiving in the marketplace.
Our mission is to activate young people to achieve economic dignity by addressing the caregiving crisis. Our vision is to build a path toward health equity and economic justice by way of addressing the caregiving crisis. Care Generation will champion the New Deal of the 21st century: a National Care Corps that seeks to engage, employ, and empower Americans from every demographic and every pocket of this country.
Our new initiative is the #HonorCaregiving campaign to recognize the estimated 30% of the U.S. population who provide unpaid care for a loved one. We encourage LinkedIn users to include the role of family caregiver or family caregiver advocate in the Experience section on their profile.
The demanding, time-consuming nature of the work leaves many caregivers too tired to advocate. Care Generation is here to advocate for you and your loved ones.
