Hi, I'm Dan Reed, and welcome to Career Dad. I started Career Dad because I didn't like the notion that I had to choose between my career or being an active father. I wanted both, without demonising the other.
Career Dad’s mission is simple: to positively impact as many dads’ lives as possible. It’s about supporting dads who are passionate about their work, but not at the expense of family.
Supporting dads in the workplace is key to solving the gender pay gap and gender inequality. Dads need to feel more comfortable and supported in being an equal caregiver to their children, which in turn takes the pressure off mums and opens up opportunities.
