We are facing an extraordinary demographic shift that will create new challenges for our society. Each day, 10,000 boomers turn 65 and over the next 30 years, the population of older adults will nearly double — growing from 48 million to 88 million, with the largest percentage increase among those 85 and older. This shift will profoundly impact those aging seniors living at home and long-term care communities. CareWorks was created to disrupt the hiring process by creating a movement that reshapes the narrative and shares the value proposition of caring for our aging population. The CareWorks program will target individuals that have been displaced due to the pandemic, those looking to change careers, and retirees that want to continue to work and do so with purpose. Once selected, individuals will be enrolled in our Apprenticeship Program and work alongside a “Peer” caregiver. This experience will allow them to get firsthand experience. Once completed, we’ll enroll individuals in our 62-hour online Caregiver School enabling them to secure their state caregiver certification. The best part, we will pay all fees associated with securing a caregiver certificate including and paying students an hourly rate to participate in the program.
