The Caribbean Center for Child Neurodevelopment (CCCN) is a non-profit organization that provides cutting-edge early child development (ECD) intervention, neurodevelopmental research, public health, and policy advising. The Center operates through the Windward Islands Research and Education Foundation at St. George’s University, Grenada. The vision of the CCCN is a world in which children feel safe, connected and cognitively empowered to resolve conflict within themselves and others in a socially sustainable way. The solution to global social challenges starts with self-regulation. As we work towards the solution, the CCCN provides caregivers with knowledge and skills to self-regulate and pass this skill to the next generation. The center draws upon the latest research from neuropsychology, social psychology, neuroscience, developmental science, sociology, and public health, to develop, implement and assess evidence-based interventions designed to improve maternal-child health and early child development.
