Fundada em outubro de 2008, em Rolândia, norte do Paraná, a Carijó Maravalha nasceu com a missão de produzir e comercializar, de forma sustentável, maravalha obtidas a partir de madeira legalizada em reflorestamentos de pinus e eucalipto.
A Carijó foi a primeira fábrica de maravalha brasileira a receber a Certificação como UFA – Unidade Funcional Associada, através do certificado nº 001 concedido pelo MAPA – Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento à Cobb Vantress Brasil, no ano de 2018, por cumprir rigorosamente as normas estabelecidas pelas Instruções Normativas IN 21 de 21/10/2014 e IN 18 de 21/06/2017.
