Carlisle & Associates is a civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The practice was formed in 1987 and is a small to medium sized engineering practice that can handle projects of various sizes and complexity with short or long duration programmes. The size of the practice, allows for a 'hands-on' approach at partnership level for both large and small projects.
Past clients have primarily been from the mining, industrial and commercial sectors of the community. Our experience includes the design and detailing of structures such as residential townhouse developments, industrial warehouses, retaining walls, roads and municipal services, water-tanks etc. We are competent in the design of reinforced/prestressed concrete, structural steelwork, composite materials, load-bearing brickwork and timber.
