Hello, I am Cass Walden a lactation consultant (IBCLC), nurse and midwife.
My journey into lactation care was unplanned but there are truly few things, that are so fulfilling. I have helped many Mums and Bubs on their breastfeeding journey and it has been such a joy and a privilege.
I have been involved with providing healthcare over the last 24 years but more recently, midwifery for the last 5 years. I am also a mum to teenage lads and was well supported by knowledgeable women throughout my own breastfeeding journey.
Often times it’s the small adjustments that result in the most profound changes to the journey of the breastfeeding mum & babe.
Breastfeeding can be an isolating journey. The excitement of returning home quickly sometimes renders women and their families with unexpected challenges and limited support.
I would love the opportunity to partner with you as you prepare to welcome a babe or after their arrival. I am available for home visits, virtual consults or appointments at my clinic.
