CastleGuard focuses primarily on providing debt capital to support leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, and refinancings. We take a long-term approach to investments through fundamental analysis and active management of each situation.
CastleGuard was founded by Chad Blakeman, Ian Fowler, and Victor Viner. Messrs. Blakeman and Fowler, former GE Capital executives and co-founders of Freeport Financial, have over 45 years of combined experience in the middle market space. Mr. Viner has 25 years of capital markets and investment management experience including senior positions at Credit Suisse and UBS. Prior to co-founding CastleGuard, Mr. Viner co-founded and was CEO of Volaris, a multi-billion dollar AUM option strategy firm acquired by Credit Suisse in 2003.
The firm is headquartered in the Chicago, IL area, the center for middle market finance companies and investors.
