Catherine's House serves women and children facing homelessness due to a variety of circumstances such as domestic violence, unemployment/underemployment, the shortage of affordable housing, unexpected tragedies, and a lack of a support network.
We provide more than food and shelter. Our program focuses on ending the cycle of homelessness for women and their children. Without such services, many families would move from one temporary chaotic living situation to the next. Children may develop problems in school, limited social skills, and a sense that the world is unpredictable and unsafe, preventing their ability to develop into healthy adults. Catherine’s House works to change the path of each resident’s life by providing a structure in which they can set goals and make their hopes for the future a reality.
