The original firm, Martin & Barnhart, LLC, Certified Public Accountants, began with providing auditing and consulting services mostly to small, rural school districts, public water supply districts and non-profit organizations. In early 2011, Jim Martin, the principal founder of M&B, decided that the time to slow down and enjoy life at a slower pace had arrived, so he passed the torch to Mike Catlett, also a member of the M&B team, and Catlett & Associates, LLC, Certified Public Accountants was born.
While the number and types of accounting and tax services offered has expanded, C&A continues the same tradition of providing high quality tax and accounting services. We believe in "old school" principles, but we also believe in keeping up with the needs of individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations and governmental entities in this rapidly changing world.
