We handle thousands of insurance claim disputes every year and have grown to become one of the largest insurance defence boutiques in Alberta. Our clients include domestic and international insurers and self-insureds who turn to us year after year and file after file, for claims, coverage, subrogation and risk management matters. We also provide business law, real estate and estate planning services to our many clients.
CBM was established in 1954. We are based in the provincial capital of Edmonton and act on matters throughout the Province of Alberta. Our founding partners include the recently retired, long-standing Chief Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, Alan Wachowich; Chief Judges of the Provincial Court of Alberta Edward Wachowich and Constantine Kosowan. Former partner, Kenneth Holmstrom was recently appointed as Judge of the Provincial Court of Alberta.
