CDC Climat AM is seeking for primary carbon credits from emission reduction projects from the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Programme of Activities (PoA), Joint Implementation (JI), the Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS) and the Gold Standard (GS-VER and GS-CER).
Projects we invest in must make substantial contributions to sustainable development and meet the highest quality standards. As a result we are seeking only projects that abate carbon dioxide, methane emissions and nitrous oxide from agriculture. Our mandate excludes all industrial gases (HFC, SF6 and N2O from industry).
Our typical investment targets have a minimum size of 50,000 tCO2e per year and can be substantially larger. CDC Climat AM is willing to sign long-term off-take agreements beyond 2012 and we can offer fixed and/or floating prices.
