Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides short-term, inpatient psychiatric services for children. Cedar Ridge can help those individuals that represent a danger to themselves, a danger to others or are in imminent danger of becoming a threat to the safety of themselves or others.
Inpatient treatment provides a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. A multidisciplinary treatment team guides treatment makes recommendations for interventions during treatment and appropriate aftercare treatment upon discharge. Our primary goal is to provide crisis intervention and stabilization services in a secure setting, ultimately aiming for a transition to a lesser level of care and return to full functioning in the shortest time possible.
