CEE Access Partners was established in 2008 by a small team of professionals with experience from different retail segments. At that time we knew that the markets of Eastern Europe were very difficult for most manufacturers to capitalize on due to the credit risks, "unusual" trading practices and "optimized importation schemes" which made doing business in Eastern Europe very complicated and risky.
During this time we worked with many manufacturers to maximize business and minimize risks as we assisted to build their business and market share among the almost 300 million consumers in the region. Beginning in 2007 the market began to rapidly change and the governments of most countries began forcing businesses to become more transparent in their trading practices. This change disrupted the practices that created a highly fragmented market and creates opportunity for more powerful brand names to take a leadership position and scale their businesses.
