CERE (Center for Energy Resources Engineering), www.cere.dtu.dk, is a DTU interdisciplinary center in the field of energy resources with special focus on Petroleum Engineering (Oil and gas), CCUS (CO2 capture, utilisation and storage), geothermal energy, biofuels - bioenergy and related areas.
CERE’s target is to create synergy between research groups in the areas of our expertise and interest and promote technology transfer and collaboration between companies, both nationally and internationally.
With an excellent track record and international reputation CERE uniquely combines strong competences from several academic fields. Most of our many diverse research projects are conducted in collaboration with one or more members of the CERE Consortium – a group of more than 20 leading companies in the field.

CERE is an independent, university based, research unit with more than 30 years of expertise in the field.

The education and training of MSc and doctoral students are some of the most important aspects of CERE’s activities.
