The Central Massachusetts Collaborative, is an approved public school entity through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and was founded in 1975.
CMC incorporates the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section 4e undertaking of providing quality education to children in need of specialized services while maintaining cost-effective solutions to public school districts. We employ more than 200+ full-time dedicated employees and serve over 400+ students, serving 3 member districts and 36 surrounding cities and towns from both member and nonmember districts.
Our practices are consistent with the overall mission of increasing students' self-determination, independence, and academic achievement.
