The Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (“CIPR”) was established with the objective of enhancing the Intellectual Property knowledge base. It attempts to disseminate information about intellectual property rights with a view to create awareness amongst the general public about the regime of Intellectual Property Right laws.
The foundation of the Centre for IPR was laid in the year 2020 under the convenorship of Prof. (Dr.) Neeru Nakra. The aim of the Centre is to aid in academic and policy-oriented dialogue in the individual and intersectional areas of innovation and Intellectual Property.
CIPR intends to focus on a realm of activities as the field of Intellectual Property Rights is ever growing. Knowledge in the field requires one to be in constantly aware all of the developments taking place, and with this aim the Centre has been established in VIPS.
We aspire to conduct more workshops, conferences, seminars, field visits to guide the students of law connect the theoretical with the practical.
We at CIPR aim to promote creativity and dialogue on emerging issues in the field of IPR.
