O Centro de Pesquisa em Biologia de Bactérias e Bacteriófagos (CEPID B3) é uma extensa rede de pesquisadores que busca compreender os mecanismos de reprodução e comportamento das bactérias e de seus principais predadores, os bacteriófagos. A rede está presente em laboratórios de três universidades paulistas, USP (Universidade de São Paulo), Unicamp (Universidade Estadual de Campinas) e Unesp (Universidade Estadual Paulista), no Instituto Agronômico (IAC) e em quatro cidades, São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto, Campinas e Rio Claro.
