Le Cercle de la Philanthropie (Philanthropy Circle) is a non-profit association created by the students of the first interdisciplinary and future-oriented executive course in philanthropy and management of public interest organizations, entitled "CAS/DAS Strategic and Operational Philanthropy". This unique program is managed by the University of Geneva, co-directed by of Prof. Giuseppe Ugazio, Danièle Castle and Laetitia Gill, and supported by the Geneva Centre for Philanthropy (GCP) and Genevensis Communications.
The aim of this course is to support the professionalization of the Swiss philanthropic sector in order to strengthen its impact, effectiveness, and credibility.
The students of this training program, willing to put their skills and experience at the disposal of future students, but also of the philanthropic community in Geneva, Switzerland and internationally, as well as to maintain a strong link between themselves and with the Geneva Centre for Philanthropy, decided to gather within a non-profit association.
