CERCO UV lenses, initially designed by Sodern back in the years 2000 are still the reference for UV imaging where faint or transient phenomena need to be imaged. The CERCO UV lenses have the highest aperture / transmission ratio of the market and are optimised for transmission in the UV band. The apochromatic design of the lenses makes them usable from the UV to NIR, which is a hard requirement for hyperspectral imaging. Main application covered by the CERCO UV lenses are combustion research, corona effect detection and hyperspectral imaging. CERCO has also the capability of custom lens design.
