CESIO Surfactants Europe (a Sector Group of CEFIC)

Created in 1974, CESIO is the European association representing producers of surfactants and intermediates. The association includes more than 40 countries producing over 3 million tonnes of surfactants annually mostly for the European market. One of our objectives at CESIO is to contribute to a better understanding of the contribution of surfactants to modern life and of the work done with suppliers, customers and regulators to ensure safe, sustainable and effective products. We want to highlight the many contributions of surfactants in economic development, quality of life and also to address specific issues related to human health and environment in order to sustain their beneficial contribution to society. Every four years, we organise the CESIO congress and provide a unique opportunity for partners and contacts across the surfactants value chain to meet and exchange.
