Cecchi Gori Home Video was established in 1994 in order to manage the films library of Cecchi Gori Group on home video. The company has always explored new ideas and formats in Italy, being the first company releasing a DVD in Italy in 1999. It was Die Hard by John McTiernan, an instant best-selling title.
Today, CG Entertainment is the leading independent home entertainment company in Italy. It manages a library of 4,000 active physically-distributed titles, consisting of independent theatrical releases, Italian movies, classic films, world cinema and a fast growing library of digital transactional VOD titles. The company has just launched its own VOD platform.
