Driven by the passion for wine and the taste for challenge, Olivia and Didier Le Calvez sign, since 2010, their own wine Château Clarisse in one of the most illustrious regions of the Bordeaux constellation, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Saint-Emilionnais. * Certified organic culture * 2018 – Château Clarisse – Primeurs – James Suckling : 92 * 2017 – Château Clarisse Vieilles Vignes – Primeurs – Bernard Burtschy : 93 * The Château Clarisse property stretches over 21 hectares (including 3 hectares of woods) of clay-limestone and clay-siliceous soil. The vineyard is made up of 70 % Merlots and 27 % Cabernet Franc and 3% Carménère, Petit Verdot and Malbec. The vineyard is situated on a high plateau, at 100 meters altitude. The average age of the vines for our classic vintage is 25 to 30 years. Our ‘vieilles vignes’ vintage is made from vines averaging 75 years old. www.chateau-clarisse.com/en/
