One of the most beautiful and memorable things about my childhood was the traditional Indian welcome of tea and endless snacks. Every greeting and goodbye was always followed by “Cha Da Cup Peelo” which simply translates to ‘Have a cup of tea’.
Chai and Spice was inspired by this notion. To create an indulgent treat that could be enjoyed with a cup of tea and represent my British Indian upbringing.
I create Barfi or “Indian Fudge” as I like to call it and delicately spiced brownies, which can only make any meetup or celebration much better.
