By removing the overhead storage compartments and relocating them underneath the seats, the design provides numerous advantages. Without reducing the seat-pitch (meaning same passenger capacity as nowadays), the CHAISE LONGUE provides much more leg room and overall space, easier accessibility for disabled and PRMs, more posture variation and larger recline angles than any existing economy class seat.
