Chall was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to bring people together through competition.
Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen, a former Olympian with the Norwegian ski team, understood how challenges inspire and connect people. This idea first emerged in 2012 and evolved over a decade. During this time, Leif advanced in skiing and achieved academic success, becoming an NCAA Champion at the University of Denver.
His journey in both sports and business led him to see an opportunity: a platform that would extend the competitive spirit of sports into everyday life and business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Leif spent two years researching, gathering data, and listening to potential users’ needs. This process resulted in the creation of Chall’s first protoype, a platform that simplified hosting and participating in competitions.
With a team of co-founders from diverse professional backgrounds, Leif and his partners brought Chall to life.
