Resting atop a limestone plateau, in one of the most remarkable sites of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, Beauséjour’s south- and south-west-facing vineyard is a haven spanning 6.8 hectares.
Boasting a terroir that is widely recognised as exceptional, it produces vintages of great ageing potential and incredible freshness.
Since the creation of the Saint-Émilion classification in 1955, Beauséjour has belonged to the inner circle of châteaux awarded Premier Grand Cru Classé Premier B status.
Having belonged to the Duffau-Lagarrosse family since 1847, Beauséjour changed hands in April 2021.
Today, it is spearheaded by two young women, Prisca Courtin and Joséphine Duffau-Lagarrosse.
Axel Marchal and Julien Viaud complete this dynamic, talented team, working alongside the duo to reveal, with ever more precision, the estate's magnificent terroir.
