Chatham school district is uniquely located in four different southeast Alaska communities. Angoon, Gustavus, Klukwan and Tenakee Springs. Each community is rich with local culture, natural wonders, and caring residents.
Klukwan is a Pre-K -12th-grade school located 20 miles out of Haines Alaska. Angoon has an Elementary school building for grades K-5th grade and a middle school high school building for the 6th - 12th graders and is located on Admiralty Island. Gustavus is a Pre-K -12th grade school and is located near the entrance to Glacier Bay National Park. Tenakee Springs is our Independent learning center where the homeschool and virtual school options are managed.
