Chaz the Gun Guy Overview

When I retired from Special Operations and started working in the firearms industry I noticed a cultural problem, firearms and tactical systems were not validated through 3rd party testing. LE Departments and Gov't Agencies without OT&E resources were left to gather information on systems their lives depend on through the only available resources to them; OEMs, Industry Range Days (SHOT), and Influencers. Most often tactical systems were purchased without the most current data on lifecycle costs, performance and other available systems that may better meet their needs. This left LE professionals relying on products that ultimately may not meet their requirements without them even knowing. Chaz the Gun Guy works with companies in the tactical industry to gather product testing data to provide to LE and Gov't Agencies that do not typically have these resources. We work with departments to gather requirement and budgeting data to provide validated system recommendations, many they were not previously aware of, to increase capabilities while reducing procurement costs. We care because our team is made up of SOF and LE professionals that have had to rely on these exact systems. Additionally we work with companies in the tactical industry to develop new or iterate on existing products to meet the needs of the end user. We use our decades of experience to shorten the feedback loop and provide the most pertinent user information in development cycles. Simply, we want the systems users rely on to be the best and give them every advantage to come home to their families safely.
