Chesed of Flatbush was born in 2020 during the heat of the COVID pandemic at the behest of local medical professionals and community leaders who saw a need for a community organization. They dreamed of an organization that would be there for the entire community – at any time, for any difficulty, large or small – for non-emergency medical situations. Chesed of Flatbush is a unique organization, whose leadership combines the strengths of all existing communal resources along with its own formidable capabilities. Our board consists of Coordinators of Flatbush Hatzolah, Flatbush Shomrim and major local community activists, who have been at the forefront of every major event in the past three decades.
