Cheshir Industries is developing the next generation of millimeter wave beamsteering antenna technology for wireless communications and sensing. By enabling multi-band capabilities in a low-cost and low-power consumption antenna device, we can dramatically reduce both the deployment and operational costs of millimeter wave wireless systems. Our patented gradient index (GRIN) lens antenna technology - referred to as "Cheshir GRIN" - achieves high directivity beamsteering performance that is comparable to phased array and holographic antenna technologies. However, Cheshir GRIN demonstrates less than 10% the power consumption and up to 15x the instantaneous bandwidth of these systems.
