Snacks that our mothers and grandmothers made for us when we were young, are now nestled in the pages of forgotten recipe books. After-school snacks which we would buy from the corner kaka angadi are now nowhere to be seen. What was part of your daily life, is now a special treat when we go back to our homes. Chicley Shop is a traditional snack and confectionary brand built on the idea to bring back the age-old wisdom of healthy and tasty snacks, to your favourite supermarkets and e-stores and then, right to your homes! Chicley Shop is part of Havenow Foodtech, a start-up founded by two enthusiastic engineers based out of Hubli. With a seed capital of Rs. 1 lakh awarded by Nobel Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus, they established Havenow with an idea to use the rural skill-set of India to make authentic food products. Havenow has employed more than 15 rural men and women at their production facility in Hubli.
