To have a large impact at the end of the fashion industry supply chain, we start right at the beginning. Our aim is nothing less than revolutionizing the yarn market. We use overlooked, high quality resources, which only we can make accessible. Starting with our Chiengora, many more yarn qualities will follow.
We use the brushed out undercoat of certain dog breeds to make high quality yarns. By using a resource which has been overlooked for centuries we are able to create yarns with minimal ecological resources. No single animal needs to be bred for this purpose. No animal is harmed. Each of our sheeps has its‘ own shepherd.
We don’t buy our raw material from one or two „wool“ suppliers. We crowdsource our raw material from everybody who lives with and cares for a dog. Everyone is able to join our network of collectors. This way we are able to distribute wealth throughout the society.
