Launched in September 2011, Children's Social Work Matters is a jointly funded partnership of Children’s Services amongst the 15 Local Authorities and Trust across the Yorkshire and Humber region. We came together because we believe that Children's Social Work really does matter.
Our aims are to tackle the misconceptions of the profession, to promote the positive differences Children's Social Workers make in children and families lives, to encourage more people in to this challenging yet rewarding career and to support the ongoing learning and development of social workers through our unique regional private knowledge hub.
