Chili Bill’s BBQ Sauce is a family recipe inspired by William T. Brooks, aka “Chili Bill”. After decades in the Brooks’ family kitchen (primarily on beef brisket!), the sauce was first sold to The Gourmet Pizza Shoppe in Redlands, CA where the restaurant flavored their BBQ pizzas and salads a la Chili Bill. Years later, with Chili Bill’s blessing and encouragement, the sauce was brought to market in retail bottles. Now, everyone can enjoy Chili Bill’s BBQ Sauce - from the most sophisticated BBQ enthusiast to those simply looking to make a great family meal taste even better.
Chili Bill was a jack of many trades and a cowboy at heart. While his life took him in many different directions, Chili Bill always found his way back to the kitchen - competing (successfully!) in the chili cook-off circuit, authoring cook books and ultimately hosting 150 episodes of the locally popular tv show, Chili Bill's Kitchen, during the 1980's.
