China Electronics Corporation (CEC) is one of the key state-owned conglomerates directly under the administration of central government, and the largest state-owned IT company in China. It was established in 1989 and originated from the former Ministry of Electronics Industry as a result of government restructuring.
CEC administrates a constellation of well-known IT companies in China; it currently controls 61 second level subsidiaries, including 13 listed holding companies. CEC owns large-scale manufacturing bases in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Nanjing，Changsha, Xiamen, etc. Total employee now is over 70,000.
