Sichuan Nickelodeon World Overview

Sichuan Nickelodeon World (Chinese: 天府尼克世界) is a proposed Nickelodeon theme park and resort in Meishan City, Sichuan Province of China, that is aiming for a May 2025 completion. The project will span an area of 131acres out of the broader Paramount-branded development project’s total 172acres The park will become the first Nickelodeon-branded theme park in the world, and also the first in Southwestern China from the Top-Ten Media companies in the world – Paramount Global. The new park itself will consist of well-known IPs like “SpongeBob SquarePants”, “Garfield”, “Paw Patrol”, “Dora the Explorer”, “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” The resort will be developed by Meishan Jinhengde Waycomm Cultural Tourism Innovation Development Co., Ltd., which is a JV between Zhejiang JHD Group and China Energy Construction Gezhouba Group Corporation, a state-owned entity. In December 2020, an investment agreement with the local government was signed and construction works began thereafter on the exhibition center
