Compellingly reintermediate mission-critical potentialities whereas cross functional scenarios -We had started a propreitary firm for retail in the year 1986 -Retail expansion from 1986 - 2002-[ 1. m/s praveen gift centre, 2. m/s chowhan telecom, 3. the mobile store] -In the year 2002, alongside the retail operation we initated a supply-chain for digital camera’s and memory cards -Over the year, we realised there is tremendous scope for growth in distribution channel -Hence, we decided to initiate a proprietorship firm lead by mr. praveen chowhan– m/s chowhan enterprises -Both the firms, retail as well as distribution had grown phenomenally,the kind of opportunities and the width of business in the distribution segment were highly appealing -Hence, a decision to shrink all retail outlets into one ( m/s praveen gift centre ) and conglomerate the focus, man power and managerial skills into chowhan enterprises,since then we have grown progressively. 2003 – associated with kodak digital camera’s with a business value of 20 lacs per month and a staff strength of 15 members 2004 – partnered with sandisk as a regional distributor for memory products, added a sister concern in chennai for distribution with an added manpower of 8 members. 2005 & 2006 – apple ipods, logitech universal gear were included to our product portfolio. 2007 – associated with kodak, logitech, sandisk and apple with a turnover of 5 cr per annum, we expanded operations into mysore by establishing another branch 2008 – having established a foothold across the state, we were provided the opportunity to partner with blackberry and samsung mobiles. 2009 – over the years we had grown consistently and at this point the opportunities were more intriguing, which required a focused, classified management and adequate funds, hence the organisation was converted into a partnership firm, with two founding partner’s on board
