Cibola High School is one of the largest schools in the Yuma Union High School District #70 and is accredited by Cognia. It opened in 1988 and its name is derived from a legend in Spanish history about great and limitless riches in the Seven Cities of Gold. Students selected Raiders as their school mascot.
