Circle Community LandTrust is a nonprofit housing provider that was founded in 2017 to protect and invest in some of the last affordable family-sized homes in Toronto. We provide deeply affordable housing to more than 600 tenant households scattered across the City’s vibrant neighbourhoods, with many of our properties located in East Toronto and Scarborough. We believe in quality, sustainable homes, amplifying tenant voices, and supporting community wellbeing.
As a land trust, we can ensure that our homes will remain affordable forever. We’re committed to our houses, tenants, and communities – From our $70 million Capital Repair Program that prioritizes quality, sustainability and social procurement, to working with our Tenant Advisory Group on policy consultation and strategic planning.
Our staff team of 25 provides maintenance and tenancy services that are tailored to serve the needs of scattered housing. Circle’s volunteer board of directors is made up of leaders from the housing and nonprofit sectors, who are committed to providing quality homes and service to our tenants, and growing Toronto’s affordable housing stock.
