Het kennis- en ontmoetingscentrum opent in CHV Noordkade in de gemeente Meierijstad. De initiatieven in het centrum dragen bij aan SDG 12.3 van de Verenigde Naties om in 2030 voedselverspilling te halveren ten opzichte van 2015. Bedrijven, maatschappelijke organisaties, kennisinstellingen en overheden bundelen er hun krachten. Het Circular Food Center is een sleutelproject in de Regio Deal Noordoost Brabant
