We are a non-profit community service organization as a fun, close-knit group of Penn students! We mentor Philadelphia youth through arts education and creative self-expression.
Originally founded at Harvard University in 1983, CityStep came to Penn's campus in 2004 and has thrived since. This organization gives Penn undergraduates the opportunity to become mentors and teachers throughout the entire year. We lead classes during the school day twice a week in elementary and middle schools throughout the local Philadelphia community. As an arts outreach initiative, we allow an outlet for creativity through dance for all of our students.
