CityVue Overview

We designed our CityVue app to help people stay alert and safe as they travel to work, go on vacation, enjoy the local nightlife, do day-to-day activities, or simply get home. After hearing personal stories of spiked drinks, being sexually assaulted, or feeling unsafe walking home late from the train, we are passionate about getting our software in the hands of as many people as possible. Right now, in the U.K., 7 out of 8 hate crimes in the LGBTQ+ community go unreported. Furthermore, 1 out of 4 women in the U.K. has been sexually assaulted. These are devastating statistics, and we want to acknowledge the individual stories and experiences rather than just sharing statistics; listening to these experiences drives us to be more empathetic and focus on delivering a resource that can offer support and assistance in moments of a potential crisis.
