We are a multi-award winning environmental coast care group who manage almost 80kms (3%) of the total Irish coast line through beach cleans, talks and education. We have more than 300 volunteers in our group.
We work with other Tidy Towns groups, Community Councils, and Clean Coast Groups through our creation of the East Cork Biodiversity Networking Programme in 2017 with LA21 funding. This has been successfully funded again going forward to 2020.
Our skillset is broad and diverse, coming from backgrounds in Industry, Academia, Farming and Education. Environmental Action in the active care of our marine environment in East Cork. An Taisce Ocean Hero Award Winner 2015,2016 and 2017 and 2019. Cork County Council's Group of the Year 2019. Mace Environmental Award Winner 2021
