CleanTechPunt vzw strives to increase public support for the necessary development of sustainable technology by organising educational activities for schools, businesses, associations and the general public.
Clean Tech or “clean technologies” optimise the use of natural resources in the production process in such a way that the impact on the environment is reduced.
Sustainable applications and developments focus on economic added value in combination with environmental benefits. The use of renewable raw materials and energy sources is important in this regard.
The clean tech opportunities for consumers and businesses seem unlimited. There are many innovations that make a difference in ecological, technical, economic and social terms. Through its activities, CleanTechPunt aims to create social support and demonstrate that clean technology is closer than you think.
CleanTechPunt is located in Greenville, in the former administrative building of the Kempische Steenkoolmijnen (Kempische Coal Mines) in Houthalen-Helchteren. In collaboration with LRM and the City of Lommel, CleanTechPunt also organises educational activities on renewable energy at the Kristal Solar Park in Lommel.
