The Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Climate Resilient Cereals (CRCIL) supports research, knowledge sharing, and capacity building activities for germplasm enhancement in the target crops of millet, rice, sorghum, and wheat. CRCIL is designed to develop synergies across these cereals in multiple global regions including West Africa, East and Southtern Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Carribean. Kansas State University is leading a consortium to apply the most advanced crop improvement science to fulfill CRCIL’s mission with partners in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Senegal. CRCIL’s Cooperative Agreement allows for expansion of the program through competitive awards, buy-ins and associate awards.
