The Clinical Genome Center (CGC) is a core facility and research support center for global genome investigations and bioinformatics. It is hosted by the Department of Clinical Genetics, Odense University Hospital (OUH).
The CGC provides state of the art support for clinical genomic research and development in personalized medicine projects, including:
- Project strategy and design (continuous counselling during project)
- Application for funding
- Sequencing and other molecular analysis
- Data analysis including high performance computing
- Bioinformatics
- Data interpretation
The CGC has long time experience and state of the art equipment for molecular analysis such as high-throughput Illumina sequencing, Oxford Nanopore long range-sequencing and 10X Genomics single-cell RNA sequencing. The CGC specializes also bioinformatic data analysis.
The CGC supports senior researchers from several other clinical departments, SDU, and other national and international hospitals and research centers. We provide qualified input or advice on a broad range of research topics for our users.
