CIS is a ISO15189 accredited laboratory within the University of Birmingham. As anchor tenant for the Precision Health Technologies Accelerator, in the New Birmingham Health Innovation Campus, we work at the intersection between Academia, the NHS and industry.
Our focus is on the development and delivery of diagnostic immunoassays to enable precision medicine and improve global access to diagnostics that improve health outcomes. Key research areas and expertise in Blood cancers, vaccine and post infection immunogenicity and immunodeficiency.
We support NHS services, clinical trials and individual researchers with their diagnostic needs.
