CLO(씨엘오)는 2011년 4월 창간한 공급망물류(Supply Chain Logistics) 전문 미디어다. ‘물류로 세상을 보다’라는 슬로건처럼 물류라는 프레임을 통해 세상 전체를 바라보고 있다. 과거 아마존, 구글이 물류를 한다는 등의 기사를 써 업계의 뭇매를 맞았지만 어쩌다 보니 생태계를 포식하는 괴짜들인 아마존과 구글, 우버가 물류를 하는 세상이 왔다. 현재는 국내 물류전문지 중 온라인 트래픽(Alexa 기준) 1위를 견지하고 있다.
2015년 세 차례의 ‘물류스타트업 컨퍼런스’ 개최를 통해 국내에서는 처음으로 ‘물류스타트업’이라는 용어를 사용했다. 이후 해당 용어는 국토교통부, 인천창조경제혁신센터 등 정부 유관부처를 통해 활용되면서 공론화됐다. 2016년 ‘물류를 넘어(Beyond Logistics)’라는 주제로 로지스타서밋(LOGISTAR SUMMIT)을 개최하여 600여명의 관객에게 ‘표’를 다 팔기도 한 어마어마한 성과를 자랑하기도 했다.
또 우리의 자랑 중 하나로 국내 물류전문매체 중 유일하게 물류시장전망보고서인 로지스타포캐스트(LOGISTAR FORECAST)를 매년 단행본 형태로 발행하고 있다. 이외에도 지하철 2호선 낙성대역 앞 사무실인 에서 매월 편집장이 수다 떠는 ‘김편의 물류콘서트’를 열고 있으며, 이를 빌미로 업계 관계자들과 술자리를 벌이고 있다. 하지만, 여전히 콘텐츠로 돈 버는 것은 우리들의 숙제이다.
