Le Clos Puy Arnaud est un vignoble de 15.5 ha situé dans l’appellation Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux. Engagé dans une démarche environnementale, Thierry Valette reprend ce domaine en 2000 pour y pratiquer une viticulture biologique (2006) et biodynamique
(Biodyvin en 2010, Demeter en 2014). Le terroir est à dominante de calcaire à astéries, apportant la finesse et la minéralité si caractéristiques aux vins qui y naissent. Les pratiques culturales et de vinification sont en accord avec la philosophie du domaine : récolte
manuelle, extractions douces, utilisation des levures indigènes et utilisation de multiples contenants d’élevage (barriques, amphores, cuves ciment).
Clos Puy Arnaud is a 15.5 ha vineyard located in the Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Committed to an environmental approach, Thierry Valette took over this vineyard in 2000 to practice organic (2006) and biodynamic viticulture (Biodyvin in 2010,
Demeter in 2014). The terroir is dominated by asteriated limestone, giving the finesse and minerality so characteristic of the wines produced here. The growing and winemaking practices are in line with the estate's philosophy: manual harvesting, gentle extractions,
use of indigenous yeasts and the use of multiple containers for maturing (barrels, amphorae, cement vats).
